We are pleased to announce the
launch of the Customer Service Training program for businesses
within Renfrew County. We have been gathering and assessing
survey data throughout the fall to determine the needs of our
communities in regards to Customer Service, both from a consumer
and owner perspective. The result is the development of a highly
interactive training program that addresses the following issues
and more:
· How
to interact with customers
· How
to deal with difficult customers
· Conflict
resolution
· Telephone
etiquette
· Professionalism
in the workplace
· Standards
of service
The training program is being offered through the Chambers of
Commerce within Renfrew County free of charge courtesy of the
Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Job Creation Program. You do
not have to be a member to participate in the training. We have
scheduled dates in 6 locations across the county, at various
times to accommodate the different needs of our business
community. Please also feel free to contact us regarding onsite
training if you are unable to attend the group sessions.
Upon completion of this 3 hour
course, participants will receive a certificate of achievement
and a kit to take back to their businesses to train additional
staff, or have on hand for future hires or reference. This
training is designed for both front line customer service staff
and top level management. Store managers or owners may wish to
attend and then pass on the knowledge to their staff.
